Before You Drill does not currently use live affiliate links in the launch version.

The site does not currently show retailer price widgets, static Amazon prices, product availability claims, or retailer product images.

How recommendations are handled

Tool, material, and kit guidance should be based on fit for the job, safety boundaries, usefulness, and what can go wrong. Recommendations should not be based only on commission potential.

If a page includes researched-only guidance, it should not imply hands-on testing unless hands-on testing is specifically stated.

If affiliate links are added later

If affiliate links are approved later, the relevant pages should clearly disclose that Before You Drill may earn a commission at no extra cost to the reader.

Disclosures should appear close to monetized links or commerce modules, not hidden only on this page.

Affiliate activation should not change the site's safety-first, decision-first recommendations.

Amazon and retailer-specific rules

Static Amazon prices should not appear unless compliant tooling is approved and implemented.

Retailer product images should not be used unless the site has the right to use them through an approved program, license, or owned asset source.
